Paid Time Off (PTO)
MWI recognizes the importance of time off for rest, relaxation and good health, which contributes to well-being of you and your family. MWI provides a generous schedule of PTO which can be used for vacation, illness or personal emergencies. During your first year of employment PTO time is provided on a pro-rated basis depending on when during the calendar year your date of hire occurs.
Holiday Pay / Premium Holiday Pay
Eligible full-time employees will receive six paid holidays off regardless of the day of the week on which the holiday falls. If you are required to work a holiday, you will be paid for those hours worked on the holiday at our Premium Holiday rate (time and one half) and will also be provided with a different day off for Holiday Pay.
For eligible employees, if your birthday falls on a regularly scheduled workday you will be given your birthday off with pay.
Retirement & Investment Plans
- 401(k) Plan – Ensure your financial future by choosing to save a percentage of your compensation toward your retirement. Both the Traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (after-tax) alternatives are provided. MWI will match a percentage of your contribution each pay date.
- Health Insurance – We offer a choice of two different plans to choose from. MWI makes a majority contribution to each eligible employee’s monthly health insurance premium.
- Dental Insurance – We offer a choice of two plans to choose from. MWI makes a fixed dollar amount contribution to each employee’s monthly dental insurance premium.
- Life Insurance – MWI provides our employees term life insurance at no the employee while employed at MWI.
- Long Term Disability – MWI provides our employees with long term disability insurance at no the employee while employed at MWI.
MWI understands the deep impact that death can have on an individual or a family. We provide both and unpaid bereavement leave to assist our employees in times of need.
Jury Duty Pay
MWI recognizes the importance of the need for our employees to fulfill their civic duties when called upon to serve as jurors. With this in mind, all full-time hourly and salaried employees will be compensated for their difference in pay if they are selected for jury duty.

Employee of the Quarter
The EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER award is in recognition of an individual who demonstrates outstanding and exemplary service above and beyond the normal call of duty.
Rental Sales Agent Certification
Our Rental Sales Agents that display the three key elements of Attitude, Knowledge and Presentation can be nominated for Rental Sales Agent Certification. Agents that are nominated for the certification program show enhanced levels of customer service, are engaged in their job and achieve higher than average sales numbers. Agents that successfully make it through the certification program receive recognition by wearing a special certification pin, in addition to awards and bonuses! This puts them well on their way to being a mentor for their peers.
Those employees that have achieved their Rental Sales Agent Certification are eligible for nomination into the Mentoring Certification Program. During the mentoring program, employees will learn how to mentor their peers. They will be looked upon for assistance in giving coaching and feedback, do practice rentals, etc. to enhance the customer service and sales of the entire team. After successfully completing the mentor certification, they receive recognition by wearing a special mentor certification pin, and are eligible for additional awards and bonuses! This puts them in a position to be a leader within their station.
To build a consistent culture of Productivity and Quality of our products, MWI provides a yearly recognition award and incentive to the service team that is most consistent and efficient. The service team that earns the most points is awarded an MWI Masters Trophy with the year and the name of the individuals engraved.
Rental Sales Agent Monthly Top Ten
To promote consistency, accountability and recognition for our Rental Sales Agents, MWI distributes a Monthly Top Ten Performers Memo three times a month. This memo represents the Top Ten Sales Performers in the company for 5 Sales Categories. This memo is used to engage our teams and build a sense of friendly competition amongst our peers.

To promote consistency, accountability and recognition for our Service Agents, MWI distributes a monthly Service Super Star Memo. This memo represents our Monthly and Perpetual Performers companywide in 2 specific categories as well as the MWI locations that are excelling in these areas.

Employee Recognition Cards
To promote Best in Class behavior and instant employee recognition on a job well done, MWI supplies each station with Employee Recognition Cards. These cards are available to all employees to take the opportunity to recognize a co-worker on their valiant efforts as an employee and team mate. All cards are submitted at the end of the month and one lucky Best in Class Employee is drawn and will win a prize!
